Shadan Malik

Founder & CEO

As founder and CEO of iDashboards, Shadan Malik employs a hands-on approach to driving the strategic growth of the company, and he wears many leadership hats. He works closely with the product development team to continuously improve the company’s dashboard solutions, always looking ahead to set the vision for the next generation of the software.

Prior to founding iDashboards in 2003, Shadan Co-Founded WIT, a business intelligence (BI) consulting firm specializing in traditional data warehouse, reporting and dashboard development projects, as well as big data, data discovery and predictive analytics. Shadan is an industry thought leader on the topic of BI dashboards and among the earliest champions who pioneered this concept. He authored the first book on the subject titled “Enterprise Dashboards: Design and Best Practices for IT,” which was published by McGraw-Hill in 2005.

Shadan earned his master’s in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech, and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in India. He has also received honorary leadership awards from Lawrence Technological University and the Edward Lowe Foundation.

Dennis DeMeyere

Enterprise Sales Director

As Director of Enterprise Sales with iDashboards, Dennis DeMeyere provides strategic guidance and oversight for direct sales, marketing and solutions engineering of enterprise sales. A robust team made up of business development professionals, account managers, consultants and solutions engineers work closely with Dennis to drive this growing segment of the data visualization industry.

Prior to joining iDashboards, he served as the Manager of Strategic Sales for Sprint Corporation, where he supported Cloud, SaaS, CaaS, IaaS and mobility clients globally, developed marketing and business plans, negotiated contracts and mentored personnel. Over the course of his 25+ years in technology sales, Dennis was also a Vice President of North American sales with PixStream, a Director for Nortel Networks, a Director for Bay Networks and a Global Account Manager for SynOptics Communications. Having worked for many start-ups and through many mergers and acquisitions, he focuses on maintaining a start-up mentality at iDashboards by offering flexibility in the workplace and employee access to company executives.

Dennis is a graduate of Oakland University. He is the former Director of the Detroit Institute for Children, and serves as the Sprint Advocate for Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. He can be reached on LinkedIn.

Tim Barr

SaaS Sales Director

As Director of SaaS Sales, Tim Barr played a critical role in launching the iDashboards Cloud Division in 2011, and he continues to remain an instrumental driver of the division’s present growth in revenue and success.

Tim possesses a track record of consistently meeting—and exceeding—revenue and profit goals by exercising great recruiting and motivational best practices to get the best work product from his teams. His previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Sales for Telesource Services, where he managed a nationwide sales team and was responsible for planning and implementing sales strategies to open new markets and meet revenue and profit targets. Prior to that, Tim was an Account Manager for GRiD Systems, an Account Manager for McDonnell Douglas Capital Corporation, an Account Representative for National Computer Corporation and a District Sales Manager for Lanier.

Throughout his career, Tim has been quoted in numerous publications, including Selling Power magazine, and has traveled the U.S. and Canada to provide keynote speeches and training on leadership, customer service and sales. Tim graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. He can be reached on LinkedIn.

Trip Dixon

Technical Services Director

In his role as Technical Services Director, Trip Dixon manages all aspects of the professional services, pre-sales services and technical support departments. As a member of the senior management team, Trip also contributes to the strategic direction of the company and product line, including design and architecture of product enhancements involving Java coding, server design and database development.

Trip possesses more than 15 years of technical sales and services experience, the past eight of which have been spent with iDashboards. Prior to being named Technical Services Director, Trip served as Professional Services Manager, at which time he was ultimately responsible for customer satisfaction and success, as well as employee development, resource allocation and conflict resolution. He began his tenure at iDashboards as a Senior Technical Consultant, managing hundreds of on-site professional services engagements, product demonstrations and providing strategic sales support from a technical vantage point.

Before joining iDashboards, Trip was a Technical Manager for QAS Systems, a Web Developer with Dixon Computer Services and a Sales Engineer with Netrex.

In addition to Trip’s technical expertise, he is an experienced presenter, having spoken at numerous industry events all over the world throughout his career. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. He can be reached on LinkedIn.

Joni Jones

Marketing Director

As Marketing Director, Joni plays a critical role in the branding and sales of iDashboards software products. Providing strategic and tactical oversight to messaging in all communications channels, Joni leads a team of creative professionals in carving out a distinct niche for iDashboards in a crowded and challenging marketplace. Collaborating with her counterparts in Sales and Product Development, she is currently responsible for lead generation and accelerating iDashboards’ already impressive growth rate.

Joni brings extensive experience to the Marketing Director position. As the Marketing, Sales and Creative Director of J. Jones Design, she specialized in corporate and brand identity development, helping several firms achieve enviable brand recognition. Her efforts also generated numerous advertising awards and accolades. Prior to starting and growing her firm, Joni led the creative efforts at several area advertising agencies and corporate communications departments,  delivering memorable and effective campaigns that also garnered Emmy Awards, Caddy Awards and other national recognition.

Jenna Ryberg

Human Resources & Accounting Director

As Human Resources and Accounting Director, Jenna is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting the many talented people necessary to create and sell iDashboards software products. Jenna provides critical leadership and vision in the pursuit of the company’s strategic goals, while helping to ensure that client needs remain top-of-mind. Working in close collaboration with the directors, she helps ensure that iDashboards continues to offer a challenging and nurturing environment that attracts the very best talent available. Her responsibilities also include invoicing, managing the company’s accounting functions and other financial services.

An iDashboards employee since 2009, Jenna brings extensive experience to her position. As an Executive Assistant at Comau, she administrated travel, expenses, payroll and client presentations for the company’s sales and marketing teams. Prior to that, she supported the engineering team at DCT Welding & Assembly. During her tenure at iDashboards, Jenna has received numerous honors and accolades, including the Leadership Award in 2014.

Jenna is a Cum Laude graduate of Oakland Community College with a degree in Business Administration. Her interests include running, dogs and watching her two sons play hockey. She can be reached on LinkedIn.
